The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a variety of services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on assisting children from birth to three years old who exhibit developmental delays, offering numerous therapeutic, educational, and supportive services at no cost to families. This program also aids in transitioning services to the school district when the child turns three. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends services to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English and offers interpreter access as needed.
