WIC benefits are designed for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children until their 5th birthday. The program assists families by offering WIC cards that can be used to purchase nutritious supplemental foods from local grocery stores (authorized Idaho WIC vendors), as well as providing nutrition education, assistance in locating healthcare and community services, and support for breastfeeding. Services are available in English and Spanish.
