Boundary County Youth Crisis & Domestic Violence
Community Resource
Acerca de este recurso
The Victim Advocate Program is dedicated to helping all crime victims in Boundary County. We collaborate with counseling providers, emergency room personnel, the County Prosecuting Attorneys, Boundary County Probation and Parole, the Boundary County Sheriff's Office, Bonners Ferry City Police, and the City Prosecuting Attorneys Office to provide essential information as victims navigate the legal and court systems. Our program delivers support, information, education, and referral services to victims, their families, witnesses, and survivors. Our advocates assist with restitution calculations, applications for the Crime Victims’ Compensation Program, victim impact statements, education on victim rights, court escort services for hearings, and medical advocacy, including support during sexual assault forensic exams. We also offer crisis advocacy for survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. Services are available in English and Spanish. Intake procedures can be initiated by contacting us.
