The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural, rural, and urban populations throughout Idaho by offering a range of services, programs, and research critical for the state's growth. Available programs include 4-H (Youth Education Program), Weed Control Programs, Garden and Landscape Management, limited Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Pesticide Applicator Training, limited Food Preservation, Farm Business Management, Intensive Management of Irrigated Pasture, and the Extended Nutrition Program (ENP). The initiative also focuses on Horizons Community Development and operates in English.
