The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, featuring specialists like Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, is tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It encompasses a range of services such as evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program provides various therapies including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program specifically offers early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), focusing on their developmental needs. This program utilizes multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English with interpreter access.
