The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, featuring specialists like Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, is tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides a variety of services, including assessment, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianship, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies are available, along with resources about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months), helping families foster their children's growth and development. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in enhancing children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services for adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English and can access interpreters as needed.
