The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, featuring specialists like Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, aims to cater to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides a range of services such as evaluations, diagnoses, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy services are available, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, along with information about private service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in assisting children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating, and engaging in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program supports individuals with developmental disabilities through services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English with interpreter access available.
