The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, led by Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, aims to cater to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. This includes services such as evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapeutic services like developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies are provided, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), helping families to support their child's growth and development. This program utilizes multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in promoting communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and family engagement. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers various services, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, crisis intervention, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English and can access interpreters as needed.
