The Self-Reliance programs include: **Cash Assistance (TAFI, Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho)**, which aids low-income families with children; adults are limited to a 24-month lifetime cap and must actively seek work, training, or education. Pregnant women without other children are eligible only if they have a medical condition preventing work and are in their last trimester. Unmarried minors with children must reside with their parents unless there is a valid reason otherwise. **Food Stamps** offer essential food benefits to low-income households to promote health and stabilize labor markets. **Child Care** assistance through the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) helps subsidize child care costs for low-income families who are working, job searching, or attending educational programs. Eligible families will be referred to licensed childcare providers through ICCP.
