West Valley Humane Society

We are a private non-profit 501c3 organization focused on rescuing homeless and unwanted animals in Canyon County, providing them shelter and medical care, and helping them find new homes. We also offer limited low-cost spay/neuter services or referrals, as well as veterinary care for the low-income community. The Pet Food Pantry is a valuable service provided by West Valley Humane Society, available when supplies permit. This pantry assists individuals in need of pet food during difficult times, but it is not meant to serve as a primary food source for owned pets. If a resident of Canyon County is struggling to afford pet food, we are here to help. Participants in the program must agree not to acquire additional pets or allow their animals to breed, and all pets involved must be spayed or neutered within three months of joining. We also provide assistance for those needing help with spaying and neutering their animals.
