Job Corps features residential campuses that allow students to live on-site while participating in both classroom and vocational training programs. The training is designed to be flexible, with open entry and exit options, lasting up to two years. After graduation, Job Corps offers career support and transitional assistance for a period of up to 12 months. Available services include free housing, opportunities to obtain a GED or High School Diploma, access to over 30 vocational trades, a clothing allowance, basic medical and dental care, computer skills training, recreational activities, driver's education, social and life skills training, counseling and support groups, classes for limited English proficiency, and pathways to college programs. The program is available in English and Spanish.
