The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a crucial role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of the state through various services, programs, and research initiatives. Key offerings include 4-H programs, weed control initiatives, home economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), garden and landscape management, youth risk programs, family resource management, crops and horticulture education, first aid and safety training with a focus on small business operations, money management, household budgeting, life skills development, teen tutoring, pesticide applicator training, and food preservation.
