Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to cater to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The services provided encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy options such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy are available, along with resources about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. These Early Intervention Services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more actively in their family’s daily routines. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends services to individuals with developmental disabilities, which include court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, and interpreters can be provided upon request.
