WIC benefits are designed for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children until their 5th birthday. The program assists families by offering WIC cards to purchase nutritious supplemental foods from local grocery stores that are authorized Idaho WIC vendors, nutrition education, support in locating healthcare and community services, as well as breastfeeding information and assistance. Services are available in English, with interpreters provided upon request.
