The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates and processes reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When required, it offers suitable services to address family needs. This Program reviews, assesses, and determines incidents of reported child abuse, which may involve evaluating the family members and/or the child who has been abused. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. There are no fees associated with child protective services. Additionally, the Program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services. The administration of the Regional Children and Family Services Program falls under the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English and Spanish.
