The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth, utilizing multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in enhancing children's communication, mobility, cognitive abilities, nutrition, and overall participation in family life. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, providing services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English and provides access to interpreters when needed.
