The Juvenile Detention Center caters to high-risk adjudicated male and female juvenile offenders aged 12 to 21, primarily focusing on youth from the 16 eastern counties of Idaho. This facility accommodates juveniles facing significant substance abuse challenges, those who are adjudicated sexual offenders, and individuals with severe mental health conditions (Severe Emotional Disturbance). It also includes female juvenile offenders committed by district courts, with an estimated length of stay ranging from 9 to 15 months. Services are provided in English.
