The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research crucial for the state's growth. Among the initiatives available are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops/Horticulture Programs, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, Agriculture Education, and Nutrient Management.
