The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children develop communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating habits, and active participation in family routines. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers support for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and the development of community resources. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services, and services are available in English with interpreter access as needed.
