Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP) is a non-profit organization made up of parents and professionals dedicated to improving family life. Their mission is to foster family health in various dimensions: physical, mental, social, and emotional; reinforce family dynamics; educate on health, safety, and nutrition; enhance parenting abilities; prevent child abuse and neglect; reduce future juvenile delinquency and substance abuse; and offer a supportive network for parents. They provide online classes that cover topics such as cultivating love and respect for children, managing strong-willed or difficult children, joint custody, divorce, separation, stepparenting, visitation issues, and substance abuse. Individual sessions can also be arranged at home or in the office. Classes are priced at $15 each, while Idaho residents can attend for free. Scholarships are available through the Idaho Children's Trust Fund and Shepherd's Home in McCall, Idaho. A $10 fee is charged for a Certificate of Completion for court, foster care, or adoption purposes. To register and make payments, visit www.ParentingOnline.org.
