Jefferson County Extension Service

The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural communities within the state by offering a variety of services, programs, and research initiatives. These include 4-H, weed control programs, health and wellness initiatives, food safety, garden and landscape management, insect and spider identification, family resource management, crops and horticulture programs, first aid and safety training focused on small business operations, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, pesticide applicator training, food preservation, rural development, livestock management, and computer literacy. Additionally, fair management is also part of the offerings. The primary language of service is English.
