This program provides essential educational services to individuals aged 16 and above who are out of the public school system, offering GED preparation and testing, literacy assistance, and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. While there are fees for GED testing and some other services, the majority are offered at no cost. Although individual tutors may be available, their availability is not guaranteed. The Adult Basic Education Program is managed by the Idaho Professional Technical Education Department, and services are available in both English and Spanish.
