This initiative delivers essential educational services to individuals aged 16 and above who are out of the public school system, encompassing GED preparation and testing, literacy programs, and ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction. While there are fees associated with GED testing and some other services, the majority are offered free of charge. Individual tutoring may be available, though it is not guaranteed. The Adult Basic Education Program is managed by the Idaho Professional Technical Education Department and is available in both English and Spanish.
