The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports related to child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and when needed, offers suitable services to meet family requirements. This program assesses and determines the nature of reported child abuse incidents, which may involve evaluating family members and the affected child. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
