The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and offers necessary services to address family needs. This program investigates and assesses reported child abuse incidents, which may involve evaluating family members and the affected child. It also facilitates counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering some adoption services, and is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
