The Regional Children and Family Services Program reviews and assesses reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers suitable services to meet family requirements. This Program evaluates reported instances of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and/or the child in question. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, the abuser, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the Program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering certain adoption services, and it operates under the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible.
