The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers essential services to address family needs when required. This program investigates and assesses reported cases of child abuse, which may involve evaluating the family members and/or the child who has been abused. It assists in obtaining counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
