The Industrial Commission oversees workers' compensation operations in Idaho, which includes regulating companies authorized to provide workers' compensation policies. It addresses conflicts between injured workers and insurers, adjudicates appeals related to unemployment decisions from the Idaho Department of Labor, and verifies that employers maintain the required workers' compensation coverage. Additionally, it offers free vocational rehabilitation services for Idaho workers injured on the job and administers compensation for innocent crime victims through the Crime Victims Compensation Program. Languages available include English.
Intake Procedure: Referrals can be initiated by employers, attorneys, workers' compensation insurers, or individuals may self-refer.
