Community Surveillance involves advocates evaluating HIV prevention efforts and resources within the public health district, which serves as both a reference and a means to identify necessary prevention resources. Case Management entails advocates assisting HIV-positive individuals in their health district by offering services such as finding medical care, medication, housing, and transportation, with financial aid available for qualifying clients. Community Prevention focuses on advocates leading the planning and execution of HIV prevention initiatives, including establishing Regional Prevention Councils to review the Statewide HIV Prevention Plan, ensuring it reflects accurate intervention strategies and epidemiological data for the district. The Regional Prevention Council will then initiate suitable intervention activities for the region. Languages: English.
