A CFH is a residence that fulfills the standards established by the State of Idaho and is authorized by the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare to accommodate one to four adult individuals who are unable to live independently. Certification as a CFH is necessary when a paid caregiver offers assistance to any vulnerable adult living in their home. Language support is available in English and Spanish through interpreters.
