Nurse Family Partnership connects registered nurses with low-income, first-time mothers during their pregnancy. The program includes home visits for 30 months, continuing until the child turns 2. It assists new mothers in cultivating effective parenting skills and promotes their child's social, emotional, and physical growth. Additionally, it offers mentorship in achieving educational and career aspirations, helps clients establish a supportive network, and works in conjunction with community resources. This initiative has been successful for over 30 years and operates in 34 states.
