The Disability Action Center delivers advocacy, information and referral services, peer support, and training in independent living skills for individuals with disabilities as well as the community at large. They also provide personal assistant services within the home. The center offers information on topics such as the ADA, fair housing, accessibility issues, independent living challenges, transportation, personal assistants, sign language interpreters, community resources, coping strategies, Social Security, vocational rehabilitation, Medicare and Medicaid, and assistive technology for those with hearing impairments. Personal assistance services are available in-home. Services are provided in English.
