The Idaho Army National Guard Family Assistance Center acts as a Family Readiness Office dedicated to supporting military families and the families of DOD personnel. The Family Assistance Coordinator (FAC) functions as a resource for information and referrals on a wide range of issues. Families can be referred to both military and civilian organizations. The FAC handles various inquiries related to household, employment, or family matters, offering help with financial issues, medical benefits, legal concerns, ID cards/DEERS enrollment, and Employer Support to the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The Coordinator also links families with necessary military and civilian resources. Services are accessible to all Service Components, and assistance is available in English.
