The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass referrals, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program shares information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. These early intervention services cater to both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to facilitate the child's growth. The program operates through multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
