The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass referrals, information dissemination, guardianship and commitment assistance, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it shares information about private service providers for developmental disabilities. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), helping families to foster their children's development. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children with communication, movement, cognitive skills, nutrition, and active participation in family life. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, offering services such as court-ordered guardianship, competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is overseen by the Division of Family and Community Services and offers support in English, with interpreters available as needed.
