The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program offers services tailored to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program includes various therapies such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, along with information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services to aid families in helping their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) achieve their full potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. It operates through multidisciplinary teams of therapists specializing in helping children improve their communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and participation in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English and has access to interpreters.
