The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides various services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family supports. Additionally, the program offers therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's needs to facilitate the child's growth. It operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children develop skills in communication, mobility, cognition, eating, and engaging in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
