The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianship and commitment assistance, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months), helping them achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children in their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and overall participation in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities by providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services, and services are available in English with interpreter assistance if needed.
