The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Offerings encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program includes therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. These early intervention services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English, with interpreters available upon request.
