The services provided by the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aim to address the requirements of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluations, diagnoses, referrals, information dissemination, guardianship and commitment assistance, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in fostering children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
