The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), helping families promote their children's development. This program is supported by multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in enhancing children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request. For intake, individuals are encouraged to call for an evaluation.
