The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When necessary, it offers suitable services to address family requirements. This program investigates and assesses reported cases of child abuse, which may involve evaluating family members and/or the affected child. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program licenses child care facilities, foster homes, and offers some adoption services.
