The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program offers services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program includes therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also providing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services aimed at assisting families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating habits, and engagement in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services, with services available in English and interpreters upon request.
