The Industrial Commission regulates workers' compensation operations in Idaho, which includes overseeing companies authorized to issue workers' compensation policies. It resolves conflicts between injured workers and their insurers, adjudicates appeals regarding unemployment decisions from the Idaho Department of Labor, and ensures that employers comply with legal requirements for workers' compensation coverage. Additionally, it offers free rehabilitation services for Idaho workers injured on the job and provides compensation to innocent victims of crime through the Crime Victims Compensation Program. Services are available in English and Spanish.
Intake Procedure: Referrals can be initiated by employers, attorneys, workers' compensation insurers, or individuals may self-refer.
