The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as Food Stamps, assists low-income families in acquiring the food necessary for maintaining good health. Eligible participants receive an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, functioning like a debit card for grocery shopping. This card draws funds from a designated SNAP account established for the family, which can only be spent on approved food items. Services are available in English, and interpreters can be arranged if needed.
Intake Procedure: You can apply by calling or walking in; a written application is mandatory.
