The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research crucial for the state's growth. Among the available programs are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operation, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation.
