The services provided by the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program cater to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluations, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, family support, and details about private providers of developmental disability services. Additionally, the program includes the Infant Toddler program, which offers early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. Early Intervention Services address both the developmental requirements of the child and the family's needs to foster the child's growth. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program operates through multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children develop skills in communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and active participation in family routines. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
