The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, and family support, along with guidance on private service providers. Additionally, the program features the Infant Toddler initiative, which delivers early intervention services aimed at helping families nurture their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. The early intervention services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to facilitate the child's growth. This program is supported by multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in assisting children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and active participation in family routines. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
