The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural populations of Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research crucial for the state's growth. Among the available programs are 4-H/Youth Development, Weed Control Programs, Parenting Programs, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, initiatives focused on small business development, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills training, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation.
