The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in aiding the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research that contribute significantly to the state's growth. The range of programs includes: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk initiatives, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation. Services are available in English.
